Changes!!

Change can be a good thing, however it can also be a bad thing. Currently, I'm a little bit in between.
2 girls from my department at work got let go yesterday. One was my partner, and one was one of my good friends and lunch partner! One was also nearly 6 months pregnant! Wow...it was a shock for all of us at work. It wasn't easy on our manager to let them go either, but we can blame it on the economy and all the stuff that goes along with it. I just wish them both the best of luck and I hope they can make it through this.
Now, I had to change partners at work again. Which means I had to change desks/offices AGAIN. This is my 4th move! I don't think I'm going to move for awhile, or at least I hope! I'm really going to miss my old desk and my old office. It was surrounded by floor to ceiling window's. Nice corner office with an awesome executive like desk! Ton's of room to spread out and work! Now, I have to sit side-ways at my new desk, which makes it hard to work out of the job folders. I'll have to just grin and bare it and just be thankful that I still have my job! So, I'll take the time now to say THANK YOU GOD for everything I have. We really take things for granted until it's taken away. =(
On a better note, I'm going to be spending Valentine's Day with my mom. Not exactly clear on what we're going to do. Probably wine tasting and dinner. We'll see!
And as for Travis, he will be going to his dad's again this weekend. My little Valentine will be leaving me...I'm sad. But I'm going to buy him little crafts to make tonight to give to his day care friends.
